Construction: Every shirt is hand cut and squared, then backed with a stabilizer. Most t-shirt quilts are heavy, therefore, I use a lightweight polyester batting. The back of the quilt is typically a coordinating color and 100% cotton fabric. Next, I machine quilt the entire quilt from edge-to-edge. The final step is the binding around the edge of the quilt. I machine sew the binding on the front of the quilt and hand sew the binding on the back of the quilt.
